Šnejeris Buršteinas

Šnejeris Buršteinas (Šneieris Buršteinas) (1920–?) was born in Babtai, Kaunas County. In 1930, he enrolled in the second grade at the private Jewish Gymnasium No. 1 in Kaunas. He graduated from the gymnasium in the spring of 1939 and, in the autumn of the same year, applied to study in the Physics and Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Vytautas Magnus University. He was admitted and transferred to Vilnius University in 1940. On 19 September 1941, he was expelled from the university in accordance with an order issued on 17 September 1941 by the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialist authorities. No further information on his fate is known.
