Jakób Drejzensztok

Jakób Drejzensztok (Jokūbas Dreizenštokas) (Jokūbas Drejzenštokas) (1920–1941?) was born in Vilnius. In 1938, he graduated from the private Jewish “Tarbut” Gymnasium. It may be assumed that after graduating from the gymnasium, he enrolled at Stephen Báthory University, since his 1940 application states that his SBU student record book was included among the admission documents. In the autumn of 1940, he submitted a new application to study in the Economics Department at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University. He was admitted and studied there until 19 September 1941, when he was expelled from the university in accordance with an order issued on 17 September 1941 by the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialist authorities. According to the “Yad Vashem” database, he was murdered during the Holocaust.
