Juliusz Reiner

Juliusz Reiner (Julius Reineris) (1921–?) was born in Kraków into the family of Jakob and Chlawa Laja . In 1939, he graduated from Natural Sciences Lyceum No. 4 in Kraków. In October 1939, he arrived in Vilnius as a war refugee, where his relatives were living. In the autumn of 1940, he applied to study in the Biology Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Vilnius University and was admitted. On 19 September 1941, he was expelled from the university by the Order of 17 September 1941 of the Department of Higher Education under the Board of Education, which was subordinate to the National Socialist authorities. No further information on the fate of Juliusz Reiner is known.
